The Burkini (also spelled: burqini, or bourkini) is modest swimwear, originally developed for muslim women, but it's also great swimwear for any girl/woman who for whatever reason doesn't like to swim in an ordinary bathing suit or bikini.

Muslim women typically wear their burkini with a hijab (muslim head covering), but since I'm not a muslim, I choose not to make them.
My sims swim without head covering.

I made two sets of four burkini's: one set for teens, and one set for adults.
My burkini's are a maxis recolor and base-game compatible; you don't need a mesh or any EP for them to show up in your game.

The pictures shown are for both teens and adults.

The burkini for adults can be found here:

Thank you again. Smiley
Once the adult ones were done, the teen burkini's were just a copy and paste job. Cheesy

Awww, thank you BBB!

I just had to make them. Since I'm not comfortable swimming in ordinary swimwear, I figured my sims needed burkini's too. Smiley

Thank you Amar.
That really means a lot to me, that a Muslim loves my burkini's - I take that as a huge compliment. Smiley

OMG, gurlie, I am a Muslim also and this is the first I've even hear of this. I am so excited, and I really love this. I've been figuring out for so long what my muslim sims could swim in. I started using the ninja female outfits lol, until bon voyage had a scooba outfit then I used that. But for some reason it disapared when I downloaded freetime, so I went back to the ninja outfits. Now I don't have to use those anymore thanks to you YAY. Thank you so much your so cool. I also been figuring out what I could wear when I take my kids to the pool. I always have to wear a really thin light wait pants and tee shirt to swim in. And now me and my teen girls could make something like this to wear. I never thought to do this.

Oh wonderful!  I wanted modern fuller-coverage swimwear for my sims, thank you!  I've got Victorian-thru-1920s swimming suits, which are nice, but I wanted something like surf shirts and pants and other modern modest clothing.   Thankyou thankyou THANKYOU!

These'll be a great addition for my pale-as-paste sims of any creed so it's more like life.  In real life I'm ordering a sun-protective suit with almost this amount of coverage because I'm paler than the Pleasant twins and am allergic to most sunblocks.  I go out in the sun and feel like this :blob6: in five minutes!  Plus I prefer a suit that stays ON when I swim laps or dive off the diving board.

Thank you. I greatly dislike showing too much skin, and these do the cover up trick very nicely. Cheesy
