My C drive is nearly full so I was wondering if I would be able to move the Sims 2 folder that has the downloads and other folders to my d drive and the game would still work?
I want to download more CC but there's no room on the C drive.

maybe you should take a cleanup in both your CCs and on your computer. I think it's better to move other files over on that harddrive than your game. besides - there's probably a lot you really don't need or use in your downloads folder. I've got an external harddrive myself, and yesterday I moved about 11 GB of "junk" over there, so now I've got around 19 GB left instead of around 7 GB on my computer. you never know how much junk you put on your computer until you start cleaning...

you can also move the CC you don't use into another folder on your D-drive, so you have them for another time you need them.

if you move out some CC, your game will also run faster. same if you clean up your cumputer. and you don't neccessary have to delete the CC, just move it out.

but I myself would not move over my game. it's picky about its destination, and you can suddenly start having troubles with your game. I'm not an expert, though, so I can't be too sure.

also, empty the trash bin, and removing temporary files like internetfiles and such also helps a lot. (your computer should have an option that does this automatically after you've picked what you want to delete. can't remember the english word for it, though)

I don't have that much CC on this comp. Only like 19 MB.
Also, it's my mum's computer, so I don't know what I'm allowed to delete.
