LOL! ^^  I wonder why Ikea felt they needed to advertise thru the game? They are very popular where I live, the parking lots are always full. Even in this bad economy in the U.S.  Oh well, I will enjoy decorating my sims houses with it!

Why do they keep making this? Why can't they just stop and have all their focus on The Sims 3 so that we don't have to see all the bugs and mistakes we've seen in The Sims 2?
Sorry for being negative. :eh:

Think the furniture will break as easy on there as it does in real life?

This one doesn't really jump out at me.  not like the others have done

Now I've seen some screenshots (thanks AlbinoBambi!) I might change my mind about this Stuff Pack.  Sure the furniture looks OK, but nothing that isn't out there with CC downloads.  I probably will get it (I'm a Sims completist) but for me it's only an average SP.

That's the only thing bad about Ikea furniture, it's not very kid friendly. I just got a TV stand. It holds a 32 inch. Perfect, I liked that it had drawers under it and louvered doors that close and give it the appearance of a dresser. I'm using it in my computer room. I haven't had time to clutter up the drawers yet, so my grandson got the brilliant idea to use one for a chair. lol He weighs just 40 pounds, opened the drawer and climbed in it. The whole front of the drawer split in half. Now I have to dig out my husband's clamps and wood glue so he can try and fix it for me. That seems to be the biggest problem I have with their furniture is the wood will crack long ways on the board, instead of in the width like thin boards usually do. Strange. What funny though is you know the cheap thin wood they use in the bottom of drawers? It held his weight. Oh well, I still like their furniture, and they have great prices on things. Smiley

They're popular where I live, too - especially for students. I'm renting a room in an appartment, and she who owns it mostly decorate with IKEA stuff...

Hmmm?, not sure I should advertise another Sim site - but here goes...

If you want some Ikea furniture now, 'Manga_Moon' has created some nice pieces to download over at 'Mod The Sims2' - well worth a look!. Wink

They should really stop doing any more stuff packs. Why not put it together with Kitchen&Bath stuff pack? It's furniture after all. I mean give us more stuff together. If I have to reinstall it is gonna be crazy - around 14 datadiscs together. That said I love to see Ikea stuff coming into Sims2
