I've got a bit of a problem with lights in my Sims homes. For some odd reason, they are incredibly bright when evening rolls around. They turn everything white.

I have the dimmer Eric made, but that doesn't seem to do the trick sometimes.

Is there something I can add to my startup cheat or.........?

Thank you

It's all the lights.

Be it on a sidetable or on a wall. They just seem to wash everything out.
It's really weird.

I had something similar to that back with seasons.  If memory serves which rarely it does anymore...look under your graphics for the game itself (you know the little monitor under the options screen) look at your lighting selection and adjust it down to medium and see if that remedies your problem.  Was this a recent suddenly happened thing or has it been going on for a while?

I've turned the lights down to low and I still get that washed out look.

As far as I can tell, it's been there for awhile.

I'm just wondering if I might have too many lights? Because I remember with the original Sims, you needed a lot of lighting.

Come to think of it, I've taken the light off the wall and on the sidetable and it still gave off that washed out look.

how many lights do you have?  Is this a set that you use for your pictures?

If removing some lights from the room doesn't work, then you might need to speak with Eric about a new dimmer switch.  Just like in real life sometimes they break.  it's a shame there isn't a Lowes in the Sim world to fix this kind of stuff. lol

EKozski, I peeked at your profile.  You work in a casino, where?
