Help! My Sims are stuck at the mailbox.

My Sims family bought a bigger house (as we do in real life). Now they're stuck at the mail box.  I've exited 3 or 4 times and still they're stuck.  Any suggestions?  They were working before they moved.

Did you just move into this lot??  Were the sims dropped off right in front of the mailbox?

Activate moveobjects on cheat, delete them all, exit to neighbourhood view, and enter again. May be they will be released.
As a rule, move out sims, when all the family is at home (after school, and after work).
