Any challenges or simple contests are welcome here - 1 one makeover contests, decorate a room and that type of thing, but this section was never meant to be a replacement for the old contest section which has moved in its entirety to Sim Oasis

Please check out the Oasis if you are planning on running multiple round contests

That being said, it doesn't mean that you can't hold a contest here, however please be aware of a few simple rules:

  • Please pm one of the staff with a brief outline of what you are planning and when you would like to hold the contest
  • If you are offering prizes, please make sure that it's something unique (ie cannot be found elsewhere) and that you have permission to distribute the content
  • Contest hosts need to stay the distance - do not abandon your contest part way through. If you do, you will not be permitted to hold one again
  • All pictures must be hosted at a 3rd party site such as tinypic, photobucket, imageshack etc - any posts containing pictures as an attachment will be deleted
  • As per the site rules, picture size limits are 600x600
  • Maximum of 8 pictures per contestant per round
  • There must be a minimum of 3 judges, one of whom can be the contest host, you should also consider having an emergency judge in case one of your judges has to pull out
  • Please remember this a PG-13 site so no inappropriate pictures are allowed and any that are deemed to be inappropriate will be deleted and the member warned

If you have any questions, please ask!

"They're a rum lot, the Yorkshire folk. You can't fool them, you certainly can't get away with much and they call a spade a spade. Or rather, they call a spade 'a bloody shovel'" Mark Addy
