As requested:
This mod stops your playable sims from filling up their inventory with unwanted items & going broke when your not playing them.

You still make money from the sale(because you need to replace what they bought) but it doesn't get subtracted from their family funds or added to their inventory.

4/10/06 I just realized that OFB_nobagthrowing.package & this hack will conflict so just delete it and download the version listed below.
Only download one file.
shopnosaveitemnobagthrowingv1.1.zip(includes no bag throwing)
4/22/06 fixed the no bag throwing problem(it was still happening)

I have tested this and it worked in my game.
This mod is compatible with FFS.
I try to ensure that all of my mods are 100% bug free but sometimes a bug pops up that I wasn’t aware of; If you find a bug please send me a private message; I can usually fix it within a couple of minutes.

* shopnosaveitem.zip (1.23 KB - downloaded 1053 times.)
* shopnosaveitemorbagthrowingv1.1.zip (1.23 KB - downloaded 956 times.)

I really am delighted and happy and grateful to you for making this hack, Squinge.

It'll make such a difference to my game(and no doubt many other people's). You're my absolute hero - unless you're a girl, in which case you're my heroine. tongue Lol.

Thanks ever so much.

I have a little question:

If I play a sim and send him to a shop (with taxi or own car) to buy something useful for him, does this hack interfer with?

No you can still shop as normal when you are controlling your sims.

Edit: I meant no this won't conflict with normal shopping
you can still shop like you did before using this hack.

Hey Squinge...in the Ms. World contest...my sim kept getting thought bubbles of people she'd met...while I was trying to take photos.  Guess what?  I got rid of them by using the memories in a bottle...so it does work with OFB.
Just wanted you to know...and once again - thanks so much for all your work.

Thank you very much -- I was contemplating J.M.'s noplayableshoppers hack, but I prefer this one. Keeps a bit of "realism" in the game. Smiley

Thanks for the updated version.  I thought something was wrong too but did not tested it enough to tell.

Squinge, I officially love you!

Just one question: How exactly does this work?  Do just buy the item and then dump the bag before they leave without being angry?
