Game Wont Install

i have Sims 2 Deluxe for a few months now and it worked good until a few days ago. when i went to play it all my neighborhoods were gone (including the 3 main neighborhoods)..so i uninstall the game and try to reinstall it but this message kept coming up

A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'I:/AutoRun/AutoRun.bmp' from the media

do anybody have a reason why its doing this??

The disc might be scratched or dirty.
