Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experience in Meshing accessories in bodyshop ? I made this crossbow as a request for someone, but somehow I can't get it to display properly, the mesh itself looks fine in SimPe and could even be seen in bodyshop, but it won't position right, it was meant to be that the male Sim holds it in his hand, instead it goes between the legs and just can't be budged from there allthough I have moved it around in Milkshape. and replaced it so many times. I used the gold framed square glasses as a clone. see for yourselves ....

delete your accessory.cache and have another look Wink
When changing accessoire meshes the accessory.cache doesn't update automaticly like bodymeshes.

i will ask to remove this thread to Mesh Creation & Recoloring Help
You can upload your package there and ill have a look at it if you like.

you said it moved ok?
After you deleted the accessory cache make sure you have the correct mesh loaded(the one were the bow is in the males hand in milkshape)
To position the bow mesh correct you have to import the male body/and make sure you use the correct skeleton on the accessoire.

That doesn't solve it im affraid...
The females and males use the same skeleton for adults.
You just cant use a teen skelton for a kid or adult, thats wat i meant.

well, something is definatly wrong here....
The simpe preview shows the bow off position and the crossbow2, your recolor isn't showing in bodyshop for me.....

I make a quick package myself, ok?

Somehow along the way you started with the wrong skeleton i think.
I made a new meshpackage out of diffrent files eliminated all ages and genders and the bow displayed correct.

Here are your files, fixed the skeleton in Milkshape and made a recolor to get rid of all the carbage files from the other ages and genders, then set it to unisex, ya/a/e
Mesh included.

your welcome,
it looks a bit stupid in bodyshop because of the bodyshop pose but should look good when walking and such ingame.
If you want to point the bow downwards like on your screenshot then you have to rotate it 90 degrees so it is a extention of the arm(in Milkshape) but i wont look natural as the hand points in a diffrent direction then.
