Creating custom painting

I'm currently trying to create a custom painting with SimPE, but it appears as a recolor of another painting. How can i make a painting that is 'on his own'?

I'm pretty sure that you'd have to create an entirely new mesh to make a painting 'on its own.' I'm honestly not sure how to do that. You might want to check out MTS2's Create section. They have tutorials there on both recolouring pictures and meshing.

You have to download picture templates... did you do that yet?

I know when I was trying to figure out what simpe was all about there was a seperate download at the site for the picture templates so that you can create your own paintings.
