There is one to do exactly that by Numenor
 
 
Edit: I must not have been clear. Numenor's mod is to turn off the TV.

i agree sims never turn off the stereo and it's so annoying especially in dorm situations! thanks for this... yea i agree with k1tt3n, if only the sims could learn to turn the tv off as well, ahahaha.
