how do i go into windowed mode in the sims 2. before i thought it was -w but it is not. HELP!:smt120:sad4:

Right-click on your icon for your latest expansion pack icon then properties in the Target line you add a -w at the end of everything.

I have tried that, but when I add the -w and try to save (either in or out of the quote marks) it says it is invalid and will not let me save.  Am I doing something wrong?

As far as I can remember, yes. I tried in the beginning. But I prefer fullscreenmode so I gave up.

yes you can play in windowed mode you just can't toggle between windowed and non- windowed. I too didn't think you could on a mac but read you could. I don't play that way but I think you can hold down the apple key while the game is booting to have it be in windowed mode. I tried it and yep, yep sure enough you can. I am playing right now and online at the same  time.

I have a Power Mac G5 tower
 CPU speed is 2 GHz
 Number of CPUs 2
 L2 Cache (per CPU) 512KB
 Memory 2.5 GB
 9600 ATI Graphics card and an
 Apple 23" HD monitor.
