Custom content and Freetime

My custom content has vanished since installing Freetime. Not all of it but 70% of it.  What happened?  Did this happen to anyone else???  :smt106:punch:

Im have had problems too with freetime lol. so yeah.

The siminators inteen and insim are not showing up for me!.

I know how you feel!,I just think freetime hates anything custom lol.

Well, after some tweaking and fiddling I got it to see my custom content again, whew...I only have a little less than 18000 items. Hate to lose it.

Did it have anything to do with re-enabling custom content in your Buy/Build mode catalogs?  I'm sure some people out there would like to know how you got it working again exactly, so they'd know what to try if they have a similar problem.  Glad you got it showing up, though.  :angel:

It also can help to make sure you have the latest CEP (Color Enabler Package) installed.

First I tried deleting the content registry and accessory cashe files out of the EA/Sims folder in My Documents.  I restarted the game and it didn't help.

While the game was running I went into settings and switched the custom content settings from don't show to show at start-up.  I closed out and restarted the game.

At prompt I enabled custom content and continued to load.  I went back into settings and switched back to don't show, shut down and restarted.  My custom content was there now.

Minor tweaking.

This is great information.  I have not been palying for a while because of this issue, but now I can delete the cashes and enable cc technique.  Thank You!
