A question regarding the insimenator

Hi, hope this is the forum to pose this question...

I use the insimenator in my game and have always chosen the lifetime wants for my sims if the game allocated one to him/her, that I don't like to play with.

With the latest edition, I never seem to be able to roll and find any of the ltw's for the university careers. Are they included? They were in the past, and I have chosen that want for many of my sims, without them going to uni?

Please help?

It's been a while since I've played= but if you can remind me just which careers you seem to be "missing" I might be able to remember if I rolled them last time I played--- I do remember it took a while to roll the one I wanted now that I have so many Ep's! LOL

The wants I'm missing are the visionary/artist; Ecological guru/Natural science; icon/showbusiness; and cult leader for paranormal.

I do get all the other relating to the other ep's'
I also have all the ep's in my game.

I have three extra mod/careers in my game. I've had them there for quite awhile and I have yet to see them, anywhere.

They're not in want ads/looking for a job or the wants screen. Not even on the computer. But, then again, I only look once.

So, it might take a while before you see them. But, they will show up.

You know... now that you mention it...

I haven't seen these pop up for me either.  Hmmmm...

I thought it might be because of some of the custom careers I have installed... didn't think about it being a missing part of the insim. options.

Try searching for threads where people have posted insim. problems and see if it sheds any light on this.

I will tinker with it next time I'm in game and see what comes up.

Hi again, I have tried since my initial thread, with every child becoming a teen to get those lifetime wants. They simply never come up!! Wonder if they are indeed part of the latest insim?

If my memory doesn't totally fail me, it took a mod to enable the Uni jobs to appear as wants and memories.  Both Squinge and Pescado have made such a mod.
