I have to redo my Sims in a different neighborhood. But what I'm wanting to do is, move their houses to the lot bin intact.

I have to find that mod/hack that'll let me keep the houses furnished the way they are when I plop them down in Strangetown. Simlogical I think it's at.

What I'm trying to figure out is, if I move my Sims in Plesantview to the Sim Bin, do they go into like a state of suspended animation with all their memories and skills intact or does it fade away over time?

Thank you.

I can do that, but I'm moving the houses to a different neighborhood.

I can't move the Sims.

If you move the sims out of the house, then package the house and move the sims back in, they'll still have all memories and relationships intact, if that's what you mean.

Can I do that if I move them from Pleasantview to Strangetown?

What I think I might do is, just start over from square one in Strangetown. Since I already have the original houses in the House Bin, I can just make the modifications all over again. It's no biggie.

No, the only safe way of moving your families will remove all their memories and friendships (but I think skills might stay intact). Otherwise your game goes kerplunk.

My game can't go kerplunk!!!

How to move Sims/families from one 'hood to another:

http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Moving_Sims

Doing so any other way will leave them with memories/wants relating to the old neighborhood, and those can and will negatively impact the game and the 'hood - if not immediately, then for sure eventually.
