Not at all. I love all the different shapes. If anything I think they need to be more curvy. If it wasn't for Warlokk and Marvin/Yakov I don't even think I'd be playing the sims. <333

Are you kidding me?
The standard Maxis sizes are insanely thin. All the different shapes around are awesome. It gives the game diversity. Personally I like the curvy sims better.

Haha right, I wish we could be like sims..open the drawer, just turn  around and suddenly we became skinnier/curvier/bodybuilder or whatever we want!
Just like wearing a fat suit

I think we need more diversity in body type, hope to find this at sims 3!

I only play BodyBuilder, Slim BodyBuilder males.

Oh, and Athlete. My Self Sim was made using the Athlete Mesh.

I tried playing a normal Sims male, and it looked so freaking odd/different. It just didin't look right. This site has spoiled me rotten

Females, I only play downloaded ones. I like the different figures/meshes on them.

Me personally... I don't think the default maxis Sims are extremely skinny.
They just have high metabolism. Tongue

I like all the shapes how they are.

I agree on the more curvy.  I think the default sims shape is actually quite thin.  But I don't think sims need to loose or gain weight in general, I think there needs to be more variety without having special meshes.  That's one thing in Sims 3 I think looks great

To be honest, the only maxis bodies that I ever use, if I can help it, are the female ones, since I can go to school and actually see people with those figures.  However, when it came to the males with no V-shape (or A-shape with no shoulders) at all, I literally had to go to Europe.

As for me, I play the SlimBB, BB, Huge BB and the BearBB as well as the female maxis shapes and Warlokk's lovely ladies.

Most of my sims are athlete male AND FEMALE (Need more clothes for the athlete girls!)
And quite recently I introduced the REN-girls linked to BB and bear body shapes.
I absolutely love the diversity!

It's a great pity the hights can't be changed. I often feel the need to have an evil dwarf in my game. weird? No?

I understand, you dont like boys who has flat body like 12 yo kids, or A shape without a shoulders. But I think No-one ever made a pear-shape body for sims? Is that the most undesireable body type for human in general? Cuz I've seen hourglass, Apple shape (Double D's) sim-lady

I mostly use the normal maxis shapes - mostly because I can't have too much CC in my game - and with new bodyshapes you need an entire new wardrobe for just that one bodyshape...

but it's not long from maxis bodyshape to too thin... and the fat morph looks more like a beer belly... only time Iuse it, is when I need someone to look pregnant with more than two babies Cheesy

Not that they need to lose weight but I thought it hilarious when my Sim in Sim Life Stories started gaining weight.  She made sure to point it out that she needed to exercise.
