Downloades Stuff Don't Show

I just have a regular "downloads" folder in my Documents --- EA Games --- The Sims 2 .. And i got lot's of downloads ... Some of my downloads show up, but most of them don't ...
Does anyone know what's wrong?

I also don't get the blue screen (before you can pick a neighboorhood)
This problem is since i got appartment life ..

I'm having this same issue, only it's not just the files in subfolders. A LOT of my downloads, which showed up in FT--clothes, hairstyles, etc--no longer show up in AL. Clothes and hairs I've recently downloaded do, but others don't except an odd few.

have you clicked 'enable custom content' when you first loaded the game? Try going into your options menu (...) and click on the 'show custom content at start up' thing (can't remember what it's called off the top of my head) and enable the custom content - once you've done this you have to quit and reload and your cc should be back.
