I will assume that this includes toddlers. I have long wanted to stop them from playing with the puddles and toilets. However, will this interfere with the play pool for toddlers?

Echo from modthesims made a little wading pool for toddler to splash in for fun,  they use the animation of splashing in puddles . It look like the old fashion blow up pools. She also  has a sand plie   and I think it works like the pool. I have the twoJeff's hack that stops them from playing in the toilet but the toddler will play in a puddle if one is around.

Ok thanks this shouldn't conflict with that because this affects the puddle itself not any of the animations i'm sure that object uses custom water.

It does a Immaturity check before allowing a toddler do it, I'm not sure what kind of personality that is.

Could you elaborate on what is meant by immaturity? Do you mean that only toddlers taste puddles and that they do it randomly as opposed to only doing it when their aspiration levels are low?

That is the name of the function used to test if tasting puddles is allowed immaturity searching for then it calls immaturity do if it finds whatever personality it's looking for, I haven't looked at that code so I'm not sure what it checks for.
 
edit: I will look at that function & get back to you; I think it may be playful because it uses that same check for autonomous pranks.
