Need Help with Adopted SIMS Teen

My sims family adopted a teen - with help from a cheat - but now on this web sight I found a perfect skin that goes with the teenager I have already used in the game for some time.  Is there anyway that I can "overlay" the new skin I found over the teen that I have already been using in the game so that I don't have to recreate him & start from the begining?  The sims game allows you to change facial features, that I know, but not skin tone or body (that I know).  And does anyone know if in AL we can adopt teenage SIMS?

I don't know if ChristianLove's in game skintone changer is compatible with AL, but that's a possibility.  You can get it at MTS2, search for ChristianLove.

The other way, which will allow you to change genetics also is outlined in many tutorials.  MTS2 and here are good places to look.
