Building apartments in other Neighborhoods

Does anyone know if you can build apartments in other neighborhoods?  I just spent a few hours building a townhouse apartment in a custom neighborhood, and saved it, only to have it disappear after I left the lot back to the neighborhood view.  Has this happened to anyone else?

creating apartments in other hoods works just fine for me no idea why yours would have disappeared though

Did you save the changes before you went into neighborhood view?

yea, me too :smt120 then i built new and used changebla bla apartmentbase and i have it :-P

If you used changelotzoning apartmentsublot - that's why it vanished. You need to use changelotzoning apartmentbase.
