instant launch and minimize activated

Hi there fellow insimmers

I had to format my laptop and then re install all my games, I have forgotten how to let your game launch without that launch window and also how to make my game so that I can minimize it while playing and chatting here on insim. Please help me out :-P

To do windowed mode you add ' -w' on the Target: line of the Properties of your Sims shortcut [a space + -w]. Not sure about the launcher thing^^;

If playing in full screen mode, Alt-Tab will minimize the game.

rwills Trepie's way is better with the alt tab way you can't see your taskbar and also it hangs for the minimizing and maximizing. You should try it, you won't look back

Thanks, but have been well aware of it for ages and have provided detailed  instructions for Windowed mode here before. Just didn't want to repeat the info yet also offer an alternative should someone want it
