My Game Won't Start !!!

i've installed AL and everything was fine..i've been playing the game for some time now..earlier today i've downloaded some stuff, then i went to play. i clicked on the AL icon, clicked on the play button but then nothing happens! the game won't start!!

i've ran the sims2Pack Clean Installer  and there wasn't anything unusual :S

what am i supposed to do now?? :smt120

Remove the stuff you downloaded today and see if the problem persists. If it goes away, then it is in something in one of the downloads.

Delete the groups.cache and accessories.cache files.  When you add or remove downloads these files easily are corrupted and stop the game from running.

i've removed the Downloads folder and the game still won't start! so it's not from what i've downloaded. i will check deleting the caches.

but where can i find those files?



edit: ok found them and deleted them. i'll check now
