Objects missing?

hmmm i'm a bit confused, wonder if anyone can help? I just bought the gaming guide for apartment life and I was looking at all the new objects when I noticed that I have a few missing from my game - such as the very mysterious shelving (the secret door that looks like a bookcase) and the Poised Podium. Does anyone have any ideas why? I don't have any custom content that I think could cause problems with these objects.

The same objects are missing from my game too. I took out all my custom content and they are still missing. Dunno.

I don't know why, but i do know that you can find those items in the collection files

I managed to find the bookcase in the collection but I'm unable to find the podium still.

Can you describe this podium, because the only one that I can think of is the one thats unlocked as a career reward.

It may be the witches book, which is awarded to new witches.  It's not available in Buy Mode, but you can buy a second one from the NPC witches.

I already knew that.


The podium thing in the guide looks like a box with a grey sheet flung over it and sims can apparently stand on it and entertain. According to the guide this could be found in buy mode in hobbies/recreation. I had checked the career rewards initially, just in case, but it wasn't there either.

Ok, the Poised Podium by Performance Arts what you buy to get the Human Statue.  It's only available on community lots.

the mysterious shelving door book case is not avaliable in apartment lots but I'm told that if you enter both,

boolprop aptSubLotSpecificToolsDisabled false
boolprop aptBaseLotSpecificToolsDisabled false

several times it will work.

Edit note: This seems to allow you to build (Still tricky though) but the book case doesn't seem to come up in apt. Don't know how to get the bookcase door.

Yes, I finally found it in my bookcase section while I was building a house. Haven't used it yet, as I have not yet moved a Simmie into this house, lol.
