This is my first time ever making a Apartment of any kind or home that is as well. It isnt as good as everyone else but i like it and its spacey. Each apartment has 3 to 4 bedrooms and 2 baths as well as room for  kitchen or living room.

Rent is 4,200-4,710

It's...a huge box. With no furniture or landscaping whatsoever. D:

With all of the AL npc's on this lot it seems like this lot would lag and lag. The large amount of useless space in the middle (not the courtyard, but the area near it) region makes me confused, what is that for? It seems that the spacey-ness is going to contribute to more lag and any sim walking down stairs to go to work, better pack a lunch.

I think you could have improved this lot quite a bit by giving it some landscaping and doing the room layouts first, and letting that define how the outside building looked. I think it would be much more interesting.

And you should be proud that you did it! twisted FATE Stardust1031 and cassandra_107 made some comments that could actually help you. Some could, at least. Cassandra suggesting that you focus on empty space, maybe place something in the middle. A courtyard, etc... Smiley I am just glad you are sharing with us. Heck! Maybe we can see some of the lots the other people made who commented to get some ideas from! I look forward to your next upload. Cheesy

I think you did a great first attempt at it. And, why fill it with a bunch of stuff when most people download something and rip the rest of the stuff out so they can put their own ideas in?

It doesn't have to be multi-faceted and shiny to be an apartment. You've done really well, and it's more like a base-lot for those who'd like to customize it.

Also, I haven't seen a single apartment in RL that didn't look boxy. So honestly, this is a nice place. I wouldn't mind if there was something like this near my university; but since there isn't, the sims can enjoy it.

Do keep up your work, don't let anyone get you down. Really, for the first lot, you're doing terrific. Mine wasn't very good, and I've yet to upload a lot. So yeah.

Looks to me like the large open areas are intended to be user defined living space. Not that hard to figure out... :dontknow:

I will just throw in ditto to the four comments above me. You won't ever catch me uploading lots because I am not "Bob the Builder" and often times when I download a lot I end up redecorating anyways. I think it was a nice first attempt and as Andrew said you will find as you work on more you will improve.
