I looked to see if anyone else has this problem ... the new sectional sofa that came with AL just lines up like a bunch of chairs rather than becoming a sofa. It's not a big problem, but I'd like to use it as it was intended! :smt120

Thanks,

Is this the same sectional sofa which came in Nightlife?
I've had no probs with the ones from Nightlife.

there are 2 things (that I can think of) that might interfere with the sectionals
connecting the way they should.  First, make sure you're not trying to place the
sectional pieces with the snapobjectstogrid false cheat activated.

The other thing is an old sectional global mod by shaklin- it works well with
Phelana's custom sectional (at meshkiste)- but borks every other sectional in
game- do a search for shaklin_selectional_sofa_global in your downloads folder.

Thanks for your responses. It's the new sectional from AL not the old one from Nightlife. I tried it again making sure I did not have the snap objects cheat to false and I double checked that I didn't have shaklins mod ( I don't). As I said it's not that big a deal but I like the new sectional from AL so much better than the old Nightlife one and would be thrilled if I could use it!

Well, I guess it's not just me. Thanks for letting me know. I was thinking it was just my game, but maybe it's a Eaxis glitch.

You might also be experiencing a problem if you use the "Is Chair a Booth Fix" from Simlogical. Examples would be custom sectionals, the picnic table at Simlogical, etc. There's an updated version available in the link below:

Comicalmuse,

That was it! It worked as soon as I downloaded the update from Simlogical. Thank you so much for the tip. Much appreciated.
