You might want to try Inge's alarm clock.  It doesn't actually ring, it just automatically wakes the Sims up without a sound.  It's also reserveable and has a lot more features than the ordinary Maxis alarm clock.

Thats because this is a global override so nothing wakes sims up, I never even thougth about the alarm clock I will post a warning in the description about that.

There's only one special situation that disturbs me and it is when a toddler wakes up if a baby is just placed on the ground in the same room. I would agree if the baby was crying but not just by being placed there. We never know where Sims are going to drop a baby.
Some situations are even funny - they wake up if someone turn the computer on but sleep with a karaoke machine at full power in the same room.

Going to test your mod but sure I'll play around with it first.
Don't worry, not stealing from you, but just that my game is far too modded to install whatever mod virginally. Smiley

This mod works great for me with everything except the doorbell, which still seems to wake them up.

Are you also using my auto greet visitors mod? that may be making them wake up when someone rings the door bell.

I don't have that mod, or any other that I can think of that would override this, but if I'm the only one with the problem (and it's only really a problem when I forget that I can't greet the delivery people until they ring the doorbell Tongue) then I guess it has to be something like that.

Hi Squinge!
Is it possible to make a more limited version that doesn't wake up anyone if the noise is in the same room? I still have in mind my baby problem. I always have a toddler and a baby in the same room and one wakes the other up.

FYI...I also have issues with the doorbell continuing to wake people with this hack.  I'm not a big hack user, so the only others I have installed are:

MATY's daily gardener
your wear any outfit during pregnancy
your everyone sleeps longer

I have all the expansions/stuff packs.

I thought I'd give you the feedback, let you know Tepa wasn't alone!
