This mod makes sims greet visiting sims when they knock on any door like they did in TS1.
This is not compatible with “doorbell-quieter.package” but it also does the same thing as that mod.

Oh, thank you!  I nearly stopped inviting friends over because I had then carefully watch out front for them to appear.

This mod called my attention because I'm long time out after a mod that automatically greet a visitor thru the interaction "ask to join"
I mean, in TS1 I had a mod that if a Sim was just passing by and a resident was doing something joinable (playing chess or in a hot-tub), I could hit "ask to join" and the passing-by was automatically greeted.
The other problem I have is that most of my houses are built over hills and have long stairway down. A Sim rings the bell and walk away from the door, what in my design represent too much up-and-down.
Maybe not many people would agree but I would prefer to greet my visitors self by just shaking the head Smiley
