Longer lasting fires

Hi Squinge, I have a request for you. Do you think that you could possibly prolong the time that a log burns in the fireplace. It bothers me how short it is. In real life it lasts for sometimes even 8 hours and on the game it lasts for like 2 or 3 minutes and that seems rather short to me. (I think that's how long it lasts...all I know is it seems to short to me! lol) Do you think that you could maybe create a mod that makes it burn longer say around 7 or 8 Sim hours (minutes)? Carrigon has that hack at Sims 2 Workshop..made for BV and works fine in AL

I did not see any mod that would make the fire in the fireplace last longer at Carrigon's site. I checked all of the EP sections to be sure and saw nothing that would match what the OP is looking for.

I looked over the mod at the site. It looks fine with AL. Keep in mind that mileage do vary with different game setups and preferences.

There is no need to create a mod that already exists and works. Use Carrigon's mod instead.
