appearence problem

hey everyone...
problem with game,here is the technical info:
expensions:uni nightlife ofb pets seasons original game
problem:sims cant change appearence correct(i enter the mirror 2 change my sims look when i finish his face is "twisted" hair on face etc)
reality check:once changed problem hair over face,then again face vanish,3rd time dialouge box saying there is a problem...options:delete reset or cancel...
the game gives me the only option to delete
reality check:12 sims erased
day 2:the problem grows bigger:once goin' 2 change appearence,the game crashed !!!!!!!
*** people advice me to put the download folder away and delete the group cache-THIS IS NOT WORKIN STILL PROBLEMS :snorting:

I don't know what could cause this, but I would ask the following questions:
Are there any game mods/ hacks in the game?
Can you change their look without the downloads folder?
Is the mirror a custom mirror?
Although from the error messages that you are receiving, it could be a problem with one of your EP's, you might need to back your game up, and uninstall and reinstall them all, checking each time that you install an EP, that things are working correct or not.
Sorry I can't be of more assistance, but at least if you have eliminated some of these suggestions, you might have more to go on.

i have hacks but for a long time and it never bother da game till now...
i always make back ups from time 2 time and check things out...:tongue8:
second i NEED my downloads to change face cause if not the sim become a maxis normal...:chainsaw:
and last the mirror is a maxis original...(i thought bout it 2...)

anyway i hope u think bout somethang else cause i really dont feel like uninstalling the game again...:smt106

p.s i thought may b 1 of the recent downloads caused the freakin problem but i deleted them and its still a PROBLEM
im not sure but i think that some sims r o.k...(i know its strange but so is this problem,and b lieve me i had some majors problems with da game,and always i managed 2 solve them...)

Dekel, try running your game without your downloads folder and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, then there's something in your downloads causing the conflict, and you'll need to go through the long process of finding which one(s)
