Do I do the patches(the Sims 2 website) for each of the Sims 2 games or the original to the most recent?

The most guaranteed way to have a bug-"free" () game is to patch the base game and each EP right after you install them.  (i.e., install Sims 2, related patch, Sims 2 University, related patch, Sims 2 Nightlife, related patch, etc.)

EA claims to have the patches for each previous EP installed on each of the newer EPs that you install, but from personal experience, sometimes they just don't show any changes, so it's best to go ahead and have those patches handy.  :tongue3:

Oh, so it won't be too much if I install all of them?

Nope.  All patches do are update existing game files, so no major increase in file sizes.
