You see, I am a Sims2 MEGAFAN.
Well, as of now, I totally hate it.
When Bon Voyage came out, I noticed that my sims couldnt pose. Ok, thats just one thing, got over it.
The last expansion pack realeased before apartment life,
Then, freetime came out. I was pretty exciting. BUT then it happened again, only a few more things:
I didnt get the interactions where tots sing a nursery rhyme
or that my sims could talk about their hobbies.
These are a few things  that did not come with my game. Well, of course.
Ok, just a couple more. Now, apartment life has been released
and it happenned again AGAIN! My game doesnt come with many features, just like last time! Toddlers cant peek a boo or hug, kids cant jump rope or
be pulled from their arms and spun..
It's more and more everytime.
AHHHH! Im so mad at Sims staff right now. I mean, you guys tell me:
Is it fair for me to spend $30 on something that is not even complete?
If it were like this, then I would've just paid $20 or some.
I know, I know, there's a patch. But everytime I download it, I play my game,
all the interactions are there, but then my game closes, I open it again,
and they dont work anymore!
What can I do guys? anyone wanna help me out?
Is there like a cheat to fix this or something?
I think that if I report this to thesims2.com
they'll be too busy to help.
Im very dissapointed..
Is this happening to anyone else?

Have you removed all your outdated hacks/mods to see what happens?  That's what seems to be causing the problem on most occasions.  Wink

Just about every hack you've had in your game prior to installing any new EPs.  Wink  If they haven't been updated, and you're still using them, they cause in-game conflicts with newer interactions.

Moved this to the AL help section, since it fits better here.  Wink

I had to remove all hacks and update my registry before I could get Apartment Life to work properly.  I have to say, hacks are fun but they can really screw up your game sometimes and it is such a pain when you have to uninstall the whole game and EP's and re-install.  Now I'm re-installing all my custom content minus hacks.

How do you remove hacks? I have the same problem with Seasons, Freetime and now Appartment Life. I can't even become a witch!

By taking them out of your downloads folder.  Wink  You can tell which ones are which easier if you're using either Delphy's Download organizer or the Sims2Pack Clean Installer to scan your downloads folder.  Both highlight hacks in red.
