All of a sudden once my game is loaded and I go to a lot it starts flashing red.

I havnt installed a new ep, I've had a new graphics card for about 3 months, and before that I was on a lesser graphics card and the game still worked the lot isnt a downloaded one, and this is the first time it has happend before.

I did install scriptorium this arvo then loaded the game and thats when it started, so uninstalled and tried again but still doing it so took out downloads folder and still doing it. If anyone knows please help. I know its not my graphics card or ram. Wondered if downloaded objects could sometimes break apart or something and hide themselves somewhere else then corrupt the game somehow??

Any help would be great!

Cheers Smiley

Have you tried updating your drivers or, do you have the latest version of Direct X?

OK.

Now, did you uninstall the old drivers? Dufus me, forgot to do that once, that's why I'm asking, just in case you forgot to.

I did a Google search on Red Flashing, and it seems to be a video card or hardware issue.

You're new video card may be unsupported.
Here's a list of video cards supported by the Sims 2.

Another thing I just thought of, are you sure you got all the files of Scriptorium out of your Smis 2 folder.

I think it leaves bits and pieces here and there.
