I prefer Good Witches to Bad ones.  Not that there's anything with wrong with Bad (it's my favorite album, after all), but the Good Witch spells are simply more useful for everyday playing, in my opinion.

Unfortunately the Good Witch idle animation is annoying and silly.  Wistfully looking up at the sky, fluttering your eyes, and locking your fingers like that is a sure-fire way to get your butt kicked in Warlock School.

Could you please nuke these animations?

Additionally, I downloaded your Unlock All Spells hack and think it's great.  One smallish issue is that if you're a Good Witch and try to cast a Neutral or Bad spell (or any combination thereof) it takes up to an hour to actually cast the thing.  Could you reduce the time it takes to cast any spell to some fixed amount of time please?

Thanks!

Carrigon already put out a mod called No Idle Witch Anims (AL) that works very well with Apartment Life. There are several mods out there already that do the same job, just a personal preference who you want to download a mod like this from.

As for the length of time to cast a spell, a Good Witch will take longer to cast an Evil spell and vice versa for the Evil Witch. I have no idea if there is a way to reduce the time spent casting a spell opposite your Sim's alignment or not. I could have Mr Squinge look into this and see if there is a way or not. He will be able to tell you if it is possible.

I have been checking but I don't see a way to speed up the casting time yet.

Too bad.  Well, thanks for trying. Smiley

And thanks for the link to Carrigon's mod.  I don't usually frequent that site.

Reposting to state that the new Cast Spells Faster mod is in testing. He has found a way to reduce the amount of time taken to cast a spell regardless of the alignment.

Reopening the thread for further feedback.
