So I would like to "move" my sims and some of their homes to a totally new neighborhood.  I would prefer to keep their friendships but it is not necessary.  I am planning on making a ocean front / beach hood and would like to move some of my existing sims there.  Any help on this?

PS:  I am a total NOOB with simpe.....

I just move their whole house to the simbin, and when I enter a new 'hood, they are still in the bin. BUT I think this requires an EP, not sure wich.

First, it's not a recommended procedure, as it carries the potential, if not done 'just so,' to break the 'hood and/or the game (if not immediately, then later on down the line).
