Hi,

I was just wondering if many Mac users (who have access to a PC) use sim PE to read their 'sims 2' folder?

I recently copied the contents of my EA->Sims 2 folder over to my PC plus installed sim PE. I was overjoyed as I was finally able to extract my favorite born-in-game sims and stick 'em in body shop.

My main question is, how limited is Sim PE when reading Mac files? For example it doesn't look like I can do wall/floor/item recolors without at least the base game being installed on the PC (which is dissapointing).

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, but I am curious about this. Thanks in advance Smiley

No, you need the basegame installed, or else you won't get bodyshop or homecrafter.

Thanks Mi-Chii. yeah, I think I may have no choice but to buy the PC base game. I'm absolutely dying to recolour objects and walls, so I may just have to get it, I guess.
