strange mesh conversion question...

Okay, so...I won't say that I've looked everywhere, but I have looked in a lot of places on the net and I can't find how to do this...
Have you ever seen those raver pacifiers? Like, the glowing ones that people at rave parties have XD? I'm a rave fan and I wanted to make one for my sims. I have a pacifier mesh (it's classified as a glasses item)...and I know that there are some things that you can convert from child to adult, but is there any way to do it from toddler up to adult without creating a new mesh??
