Maybe my question is plain stupid, as I have not tried to make my own new neighbourhood yet. You see, I´m actually quite satisfied with the present ones, so far, at least. However, I would like to be able to add some new roads here and there, as all this freespace seems like a waste to me. But is it possible? And how do I do it?
I know there must be some smart people here to tell me!!!!! (Sugarvoice!):happy8:

No, so far as I know, there's no way to add roads to an existing neighbourhood. I could be wrong. It has happened before (just don't tell anyone Wink)

You can't add new roads to an existing neighborhood..but you can get the "Hood Replacement" program at MTS2 by Mootilda. This program lets you copy roads, terrain and other things from one hood to another. http://linna.modthesims2.com/browse.php?f=139&u=589252
One warning, though: if you have houses and families you want to save, do that before you replace any details.
I've done it a few times, and it works great.
