Hacks that work well together

Hello guys!!
I have discovered the Sims 2 only recently. I need an advice from hacks users... I have Sims 2, no expansions, wanted to make some changes to it and many hacks were very appealing. Now I know that hacks need to be checked cos of conflicts, and I keep installing and running the game and then having to remove and install new hacks and then try again, plus Im not very expert...so, long story short, I wanted to ask if anyone could give me a list of hacks that worked well together for them..
the hacks I have installed are:
Insimenator;
Inteenimater packages a-b-c-d-f;
sitter ofb.package (i desperately need a better babysitter!!!! )
I tried it twice and it crashed.
Anyone can help?

If you don't have Open For Business installed, using a hack made for OFB (sitter ofb) can be the cause of problems.

You can delte the OFB version and try the pre-OFB sitter hack instead, here:

and see if it works for you.

I don't use Inteenimator, but would suggest you check that you are not using a version designed for EPs you don't have.

Always check which version(s) of the game any hack may be compatible with.

Also, go to My Documents--EA Games--The Sims 2 folder and delte the groups.cache filenthre (the game will auto-create a new one for you). That file often gets bloated and corrupted which can cause the game to freeze or crash while loading.

If you have only TS2 without expansions, you have to use only compatible hacks with  TS2. Enter MATY, to this page - http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/old/hacks/
see the hacks, and choose your ones. I usually choose a hack, click on it as to save, highlight the RTFM line and open it, to see what the hack does. If it's useful, I download it.

Hacks updated for expansion packs may  not work with basic  game. The hacks I linked you to, are only  for the basic game.
