Not excepting custom content help!

Hi,
Can someone please help, when I load any new CC into the game I get application crashed error. It isn't one particular item, it's any i've had this problem since apartment life. I have all games and SP's It doesn't seem to be one object and I can't locate the problem does anyone have any ideas its ruining my game play and driving me potty :smt120

I have ran conflict detector and it brings up nothing. If it helps its when I go to the decor section if I put nothing new in, fine, if I add new stuff even if it isnt a decor item I get the stupid error could it be the AL patch? And would it help to re-install that expansion? Thanks anyone who helps

It just says This application has crashed

Out of curiosity, have you tried taking your downloads folder out and tried starting the game up?

If there are no custom content it does work. Any custom content before apartment life works but every time I try to add anything new it crashes, I really don't get it

Did you by any chance take out your downloads folder before you installed Apartment Life?

yes I always do just in case I lose antything, also I started with a fresh neighbourhood and characters so I can't think of anything unless something is corrupted but if so, why can I use it pre Al but not after? argggh
