uploading issues :(

thank you for taking the time to look at this

alright, now that i am in the right section to ask this question; here goes;

i have ben trying to upload my self sim. i have read the FAQ on how to do this, where i am stuck is in the attachment uploading process.

i find the file, click upload, it says "uploading file(s)...please wait..."

i wait....and wait...and wait.....nothing happens...

if i switch back to another tab i was on does that mess with the uploading process?

any help is appreciated,

Your in the correct place. Somtimes, uploading a sim can be difficult. When the server has million people on at the same time, trying to do the exact thing, it will take awhile for attachments. I had the same problem. The best advice I can offer is try another time when you wouldnt normally come online. Maybe in the weeee hours?

If that doesnt work, what you can do is either pm a me or any other mod to attach it to your post for you.

I've had more timeouts loading Sims over at the adult site than I care to remember, and it's relatively small compared to this one over here. The wee hours are indeed the best time to upload. Maybe a dumb question on my part but you do have it packaged with WinZip or WinRar, right? Because the sites won't let you upload a Sims2Pack...

since it has an anitomically correct skintone do i have to upload it on the adult site?

It's especially true if the skin's linked to an anatomically correct mesh, much better suited to the dark side...

We've had sims uploaded with anatomically correct skins here once or twice and what a fuss! My pm box just about exploded...understandable considering the number of 13 year olds downloading here.
