This mod stops puddles from turning into weeds.
 No EP is required.
This mod is compatible with FFS & GLS.

1/11/07 Fixed another bug.

This mod is not compatible with TwoJeff's Always Perfect Plants hack.

**You may still get some weeds after you install this mod if you were going get any prior to using this mod but after you remove them you shouldn't get anymore**

Wonderful as always. It's so annoying when drowned ghosts leave puddles everywhere, and my sim has to weed everyday.

New version 1.0a should prevent all weeds from being created.

I have been playing with a hack that keeps the garden from getting overgrown or weedy, but it makes the gardener utterly useless, which isn't much fun for me. This will help without leaving him/her nothing to do. Thanks! I like my hacks a trifle more subtle.

Just wantd to let you know that after a lot of testing this mod is not compatible with the Pets Epansion Pack, hopefully it can be updated by squinge whenever he has the time to do so.

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Weeds still pop up, but moreoever, they do this weird twisting and turning and time stops in the game, no one can move. However, if use the moveObjects cheat and delete the weeds, all goes back to normal. Problem really is that I can't seem to delete them for long -- they come back and cause the same problem. I haven't tried it on a clean install of the Sims Pets, though, so it could be some conflict with another mod.

I'm going to have to chime in here... I stopped and started my game about 10 times already trying to figure out why my Sims kept on freezing.  The time stopped, but I could still go into buy mode, build mode, etc.  Also, the music from the stereo would still go on.  It would always happen after the dog would pee - not sure if it was tied to the dog peeing inside or outside - but once a puddle was made, all my Sims froze.

After much hair pulling (and restoring my lot because I accidentally saved after I noticed they were frozen), I took out this particular hack, the dog peed as usual, and no one froze.  Then I scanned the lot and sure enough, there's a small patch of weeds in the front yard.  So I think there's a bit of tweaking left to do on this hack.  Had I known I could delete the weeds, I could've saved a lot of time.
