I have made some recolours of simotized wonderful baby outfit changer. All Credit goes to simotized who made the original baby outfit changer which you can find here: http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,88484.0.html. You can only have simotized or my baby outfit changer in your game at once.

Included with this mod is two packages made by SnowStorm. All credit goes to her for allowing me to include the packages in my upload. You can find some more fabulous custom content of SnowStorm at her site Eclectic sims which can be found here: http://www.eclectic-sims.com/

Remember to have the baby selected when you want to change the outfit. Once you enter the household for the first time all your babies will be naked, better dress them quickly by selecting your outfits from the painting you can see in the pic. You can find the painting under the kids stuff Cheesy

I just have to learn how to do this... It would've done wonders for storytelling...
Great work, Simotized Smiley

(Btw - is the black hair included on the skintones, or is that your recolor of Bloom's default baby hair?)

Thanks divajai  cool

Theraven it is Bloom's default black hair, but my recolour of the one without the bow Smiley I could teach you how to do this, it would be an honour since you make such great outfits. I made a template which is easy to use and I would share it with you anytime Cheesy

Sure just sent me an pm theraven Cheesy

To everyone else, please note my edited version. SnowStorm was kind enough to let me use her package files which makes the outfit appear more bulky and realistic. Please visit her site at http://www.eclectic-sims.com/ to see more of her fabulous custom content Cheesy

I am very interested in making my own outfit changers to match the skins/outfits I use in my game, but haven't seen where anyone explains how to do this.

So...any chance of a tutorial?

Or even a PM?

Its going to be kind off hard to explain to you now, because I have uninstalled all things sims 2 because of sims 3 that came out, but if you can give me a bit of info about yourself and experiences with simpe, I could explain it to you then ... as best I can without having it infront of me LOL Cheesy

Yikes! Sorry, I didn't know you had crossed to the dark (Sims 3) side!

 Grin

Well, if you are still willing to try & help a die-hard TS2 player, here's what I can tell you about me & SimPE:

-I can hide/un-hide clothing/hair/etc
-I can alter the category, age & gender an outfit/etc will *show up* for
-I can gentitify & towniefy (de-customize) stuff
-I have made several of my own skins
-I made my own *elders-use-adult-mesh* mod so my elders don't look like crap
-I made my own default override skins
-I am currently studying the tutorial at MTS about how to make my own tattoo overlays that stick
-I have cloned/registered a few objects & have a registered user name (2, actually) on the SimPE GUID database
-I am ever-so-slowly learning (some) about BHAV stuff

My *skinning* process is as follows:

-Fire up Body Shop & export/import a skin to make the *dummy* package
-Use SimPE (Build DXT) to import my own textures, which I make/alter in PaintShop Pro X
I also make my own thumbnail & add my own description text.

So basically, I'm good as far as creating the various baby *outfits* (skins) goes, I just need to know:

A) How to attach them to the controller,
B) If it's okay to clone the controller & give it a new GUID (& picture) so I can have multiple controllers in the game at once (I want one controller per skintone I use) &
C) If I can attach more than 13 *outfits* (skins) to a given controller?
