This site is very hard to find

I must have missed all the glorious discussions on the name in all the rucus.  I don't associate the name insimenator or insim with the unamed unseemly ex-site owners/creators.

InSim is the community that out lived it's betrayal & the creators, members, moderators,(rebel with a cause) who saved it.  If people want to find the mod that's here too; so keeping the name is only logical imho.  Seems a better way to thumb your nose at the 2 who thought themselves the wiser.

As one who came along at a time when they had made themselves scarce long before the sell out, I never knew them anyway, & it was quite easy to see that it was the folks here that made the site what it is.

But heck you could call it "Cookies & cream", somewhere in the back of my head I'd be thinking 'oh u mean InSim' anyway.


& omg   xsweetruinx did you really just explain how to use the address bar?

well I myself Like the name cookies and cream
Its the best ice cream flavour around and it sounds cool
so maybe the site could renamed.

you could make a cool banner with a cookie on it.

nar im just messing but thanks for the discussion I know many of
you dont find the site hard to find but a little more advertising like with
the buttons on myspace and such would be a great addition to help
make Insim a really well known site.

I undersand how to use google and I do know the address but if you read all of my main post you would have read that lots of new people DONT know the addy which in turn makes the site hard to find!

I did read the whole post. If people are looking at this thread they're obviously able to find the site.
And google just gives a bunch of different results so it's not because of this site.

Maybe people can make a little button to put on websites or something so people can find it.

wistful shadow was pointing out about the IS bit - that's the actual forum name that displays - people may not automatically associate IS with insimenator, I think that was the original point

I was trying to say that many people still associate the insininator mod with Insim
some think its the same thing.
