The easy way is to just cut and paste your existing Neighborhoods folder from Documents\ EA Games\ The Sims 2 to the desktop and run the game. All Maxis hoods will be regenerated. You can then exit the game and delete the folders you do not want (E001 is Belladonna; G001 is Riverblossom; F001 is Desiderata; N001 is Pleasantview; N002 is Strangetown; N003 is Veronaville) and put your custom hoods back in.

Do you mean copy and paste? or move the whole thing and not leave a copy behind?

Cut and paste, or move the folder, else the game will not rebuild it.

Well yes- you just removed the custom hood. If you cut and pasted your hood folder to the desktop then it will be in there- if you read my previous post I said that you can put your custom hoods back in to the Neighborhoods folder once the game has generated the Maxis hoods. Smiley
