InSimenator question, Family tree

I've been trying to search forums for this question but i never found a specific one, here is what is going on. I downloaded the InSimenator well it doesn't seem there is anything different i press shift and click on a sim and it shows me the same things (i downloaded  the InSIMenator (UV) v2.9 SIM Edition.rar)
And here is what i really want to do. I have a mother and a daughter and i created a better version of the daughter, now i wanna edit the family tree i wanna delete her original daughter and make this other girl the mothers' daughter, how do i do that?
