Join Me For Dinner?

I recently posted this request at Simbology but also thought of trying my luck here in that hopes that it can be fulfilled. I hope I don't step on anyone's toes for requesting the same thing on 2 separate forums.

I wonder if it would be possible to make a mod that would allow you to join a sim or invite a sim to join you in a restaurant/cafe when already seated. For instance, Jane is having dinner alone, but John walks in. So I would like an option to click on John and there be something like "Care to join me?" Or if you were playing as John, you could click on Jane and it would say something like, "May I join you?" To me it would make it more realistic than the outing thing and more fun.

I have all EPs and SPs, so I can handle any combination for this to work, if you would be so generous to consider it.

Great idea! If anyone can do this, I'm sure Squinge can! Wouldn't it also be nice to allow the Romance sims' interaction of "smooth talk" as well? That way, after dinner, he/she can give his/her companion the rose from the table.

I can't tell you how many times I've wished I could do that roseforme17! You just need to list what EPs or SPs you have or Squinge won't even consider it.

that's an interesting idea for a mod, i'd probably download it. but would that mean that when sim B goes to join sim A, they'll be on a date? or an outing? i don't really understand that part.

I think thats crazy how some of the most odd and difficult sounding mods get accepted but when someone really has a good idea for a great mod they get rejected..weird
