Right on for your parents Naria! That's a big accomplishment. Most people don't make it that long. I sure hope I get to know that joy someday.

Daemian used the potty for the first time today. YAY!! Soon there will be no more diaper changes!

Congrats! And, I just found out last night that I may be a grandmother in nine months. Where in the hell does the time go from when they're just a little thing in your arms to the time when you're holding their little thing in your arms?! Seriously, though, she was frightened to tell me, like she was scared that I was going to yell at her because she's only eighteen. I just told her that if she and her husband have a baby now, it won't stop them from getting their college educations and if she's not pregnant, then a baby will come in time. I also let her know that as long as my husband and I live, she and my son-in-law and their kids will always have a home if they need it.

That is wonderful that you reacted in such a positive way, Paden. I am sure your daughter is very grateful to have an open, understanding mom like you. There are far too many parents that react negatively, and even cruelly when their teenagers get pregnant. I was 18 when I got pregnant with Daemian. I gotta say, even though the timing wasn't right, it was the best thing that has happened to me. It is so cool that you and your husband are being so supportive. Congratulations on possibly being a grandma.
