Hi.

I have downloaded some CC hairstlyes and having some issues with certain ones.  My issue is that, when I place the hairstyle on my sims in CAS in always goes transparent in areas so I can see the Sims scalp quite clearly showing through the hair.  I have also tried placing the hairstlye on the Sims using the "Change Appearance" option in game using a mirror, but the hairstyle is still transparent in places once the Sim is wearing in.  My Simmies look part bald!

The issue is most prevalent with the following ....

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair63.htm (both on the page)

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair55.htm (hair 83B)

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair54.htm (82B & 83A)

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair53.htm (81B & 82A)

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair52.htm (80B & 81A)

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair51.htm (80A)

http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair49.htm (77A)

I have downloaded the Mesh, and also at least 4 or 5 of the colours.  I have deleted (thinking they were corrupted?) and redownloaded the hairstyles and still have the same problem! I thought if this was a common problem with the hairstyles that they would have been fixed by Flora, or perhaps someone else has experience a similiar problem and found a fix?

Help, please?

Am I all alone? LOL.

TIA.

Is it possible something going wrong with your game? Because I can tell there is nothing wrong with Flora's meshes and colours. I have the female hair of the first link installed and I have never had any problems.

make sure you have the proper mesh. sometimes I down load hair that looks great on the site and then in the game it looks shite. xmsims are good for hair bt I've had a simular problem with it and it just takes down loading the mesh a few times. my sims only looked strange on the operation panel. or it may be the graphics, pt your graphics on high details and that may sort it out.

I don't think so, I have downloaded numerous other meshes and hairstyles from her site that work prefectly, including older and also newer content than the links I have posted.

Then you might want to give babyboo's suggestion a try: download the mesh again for a couple of times and see if this improves things at all. Also make sure there are not other files in your Download folder like .txt or .bmp/.jpg . Delete .cache files as well and restart your game. Take it from there and see what happens.

Okay I will try doing that.  Thank you.
