This mod prevents sims from autonomously turning off the TV.

No EP Required.

NeverTurnOffTV - Prevents the TV from being turned off!

Both mods should prevent butlers or nannies from turning the TV off.

Provide feedback for Mr Squinge if you can. These mods are still experimental!

NOTE: Uploaded for Mr Squinge at his request. All credit goes to him and please offer greasy chicken or beer to him as thanks instead.

Chavvik, I've been wanting this mod too. I tested the first one, No Auto Turn Off TV, but it only worked in my game after removing all other hacks. I ran Paladin's Hack Conflict Detector Utility but it could not find the conflict (I have a fair number of hacks).

I then tested your second one - Never Turn Off The TV. It works like like a charm with all my other hacks. It does exactly what it says - and is especially perfect for a community lot, ie a Sports Bar, and they can turn off the tv only if you direct them too. Thanks a lot.

Question, does this stop sims from turning off the TV when their fun bar is full?  It's so annoying when I'm trying to get them to skill up cooking (with free will off, by the way) and they turn off the TV.  angry

They will sit there staring at the screen until they die of starvation, pretty much. When I was testing this mod in the beta stage my sim just sat there, watching TV like a square eyed zombie. And sat and watched. And watched. And watched. And then she was really hungry and ready to pee herself so I took pity on her and made her turn off the TV. But she wouldn't do it by herself.
