having problems installing downloads from modthesims!!!!

If you installed it with the Monkey installer it won't show up in the game launcher. Only the items you download from the EA store show up there. You have to right click the package file and left click the destination you want the file to go to. There are 4 choices and I don't remember what they are. One of them is hacks I forget the others.

Ok. I'm not really sure what you mean by there in files.
Here is what the package files should look like after you extract them. If you have the Monkey installer installed correctly then the icons on the package files will look the same as the ones in the picture. The Monkey installer will setup the sub folders for custom content on your hard drive where they need to be. One thing I did not install was the resource.cfg file that came with the blur remover. I already had that file in my game folder. The blur remover works fine with out the one that came with it.
When you have the files extracted then right click on them. A menu will open. The file I have selected in the next picture is a game mod so I am going to install it in the game hacks folder from the menu by left clicking on that selection. Repeat the process for every .package file you have down loaded. It's up to you which folder you put them in really.
That's all there is to it. ;)
